World of Difference Award

The 2010 World of Difference Award winner is the Morris County Board of Chosen Freeholders. It joins a distinguished group of prior recipients including GlaxoSmithKline, Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation, Pottery Barn, Ricoh Americas Corporation, James Connelly, and Diane Carr. This prestigious award is presented annually by the Creative Heartwork Board of Trustees at the annual A Dinner of Hope event to recognize the time, talents, and/or resources dedicated to improving the lives of children who experience(d) trauma, loss, illness and disabilities. In 2010, the Freeholders provided Creative Heartwork with 5,000 square feet of space at the Morris View Healthcare Facility to conduct its programs and administrative work. In a last minute unexpected turn of events, our lease to our old facility was not renewed and we were forced to find a home. With the help of the County of Morris, our clients attended programs just three miles down the road from our old address and seamlessly the move was made and our fiscal constraints were lifted.

Truly this made a world of difference in the agency and the participants of Creative Heartwork. We are forever thankful.
